BOY

Well, it's a BOY!! We are super excited! "Max" is the name at the top of our list; I might slip a call him that a few times, FYI. We just drove in from Yellowstone/Jackson Hole tonight and I am BUSHED! Pics of the trip coming soon!

So, I had the 'weekly' ultrasound Fridee, just to see how the little one is growing! Look how big it is getting! The first two pics are from last weeks sono. This first one he has his hands behind his head, just chillaxin (you can see a tiny profile and two little elbows....), the second one is a pretty good profile. Sorry, I still can't scan so these are pictures of pictures and they kind of suck.

These are Fridays, with his hands behind his head, again, just relaxin (head at top, then body, one little arm up behind head you can see pretty good). Really, it is ironic because she was trying to look and see if she could see the sex and the baby was just flipping circles and circles and kick this, flap that, and then he just stopped and put his hands behind his head. Hehe, showing off because daddy was there! She couldn't see anything re: the gender yet, stay tuned next week. Maybe I won't have my Dr Pepper next ultrasound day and he will be a little calmer...

This is a stright on of the face. You can see the 2 front chambers of the brain and one eye really good. Kinda skeleton-alien-ish.
We are at the size of a lemon this week! Woohoo!

Guilty Pleasures

So, I must say, nothing pleases me more than driving in the fast lane, some idiot behind you riding your ass, he goes to pass you, gives you a dirty look, slams on his breaks because he can't pass you, then has to get back behind you and he is all pissed off. I can't even explain my satisfaction when this happens. Freaking funny.

Pair it with some Del Taco Chilli Cheese Fries and I am one happy camper.

Anniversary Memories

First of all, before I was pregnant, I thought I'd been hungry before, especially as a biggie. You'd think a 'large' person would get hungry, right? Well, no. I have never ever felt hunger until now. I can't even believe it. Thought I felt like crap before? Thought I was tired before? Nope. I don't know what I was bitching about, this is outrageous!

So our 2 year anniversary was this past Sunday, August 2nd. Benj planned a getaway to Park City. He got us an awesome hotel, took me shopping and to dinner. He is soooo good to me! And patient!! We grabbed some McDonalds on the way up, and evidently Jr. isn't fond of the nuggets. Halfway through Parley's we had to pull over for me to throw up. Of course I was heaving so hard I also peed myself. Romantic was to start out the weekend, eh? The room we booked was supposed to have a tub and Benj really takes his baths seriously, so when we found they had upgraded us to the cool shower (see below), we called and got changed to a room with a tub. The downgrade wasn't too cool, so here are pics from the trip:

I am really glad we got away, it will be one of the last times we will be able to! It was super fun, I am soo grateful for my amazing hubby!!

FYI - hit the 12 week mark on the 1st. Ultrasound from last week shows the little guy sprouted legs and arms! He grew a ton in just one week! We got a little profile pic and he (or she) looks just like daddy!
